Therapy to Help You Navigate the Waves of Life
Meet Your Therapist, Waverly
(aka Waves)
I’m Waverly, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker- Supervisor, though most of my family and friends call me “Waves.” The nickname has always felt fitting because I believe life moves in waves. Sometimes it is calm and steady, and other times it can feel overwhelming and difficult to navigate. My role as a therapist is to help you find steadiness even when the waters feel rough. I bring warmth, patience, and evidence-based practices into each session with the goal of supporting you as you build resilience and work toward emotional well-being.
Therapy with me is collaborative and compassionate. I see each person as the expert of their own life, and together we create space to process challenges, explore new perspectives, and develop coping strategies that fit your unique needs.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my family and my cats, who I am admittedly a little obsessed with. I also love being creative and crafting, especially sewing and working on different projects in my free time. These are some of the things that help me recharge and make time for the parts of life that bring me joy. I believe having a balance between work, relationshi.ps, hobbies, and time for yourself is important, and I try to bring that same perspective into my practice
